Córdoba Patio Festival

The first two weeks of May every year sees Córdoba city literally explode with colour.  The entire month is dedicated to Fiesta, with the first ten days or so being devoted to the Patio festival.

 

More than 200 patios open their doors to the public who come from all over the world to feast in this floral extravaganza.

 

Hotels are booked out for miles around, flamenco shows and poetry recitals take place in the balmy evenings.

 

It is a totally unique event and absolutely stunning.
